我很喜歡這個『美國最高法院的馬克杯』，

這是兔寶寶律師的珍藏。

每次夜裡寫作或撰寫訴狀等等，

在燈光下，都是文件及這個杯子陪伴著兔寶寶律師。

近日新聞報導，美國大法官約翰保羅．史蒂文斯(John Paul Stevens)擬將退休，

兔寶寶律師謹然對這位由1975年起就任美國大法官，

已屆齡90歲的史蒂文斯先生致敬（於2010.4.20滿90歲）。

希望自由、平等、博愛之民主人權保障，

堅守法治國原則，恪守法治規範，

持續守護這世界，及保障人民們。

John Paul Stevens (born April 20, 1920) is an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States . He joined the Supreme Court in 1975 and is the oldest member of the Court, and the fourth-longest serving justice in the Court's history. He was appointed by President Gerald Ford to replace the Court's longest serving justice, William O. Douglas. Though he is a Republican, Stevens is widely considered to be on the liberal side of the court. Ford praised Stevens in 2005: "He is serving his nation well, with dignity, intellect and without partisan political concerns."

Justice Stevens is the only current Justice to have served with three Chief Justices (Warren E. Burger, William Rehnquist, and John G. Roberts) and during all or part of seven presidencies (Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama). Just eleven days shy of his 90th birthday, however, Justice Stevens advised the President by letter dated April 9, 2010, that he would retire from the bench effective the day after the Court rises from its 2009–2010 term in late June.
